Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check my mechanical pressure gauge?
If you believe your mechanical pressure gauge is giving false readings first check for a broken, leaking or constricted pressure line, or for leaking thread connections.
Mechanical pressure gauges may be checked by applying air pressure with a pressure regulator equipped with a gauge and comparing the reading of the gauge in question to that of the regulator gauge. They should be comparable. If they are comparable and the gauge does not read correctly when installed, check the connections again. If the readings are not comparable the gauge is defective.
