For selecting an hourmeter, what information should I have before contacting a distributor or sales rep?
- Dimensions of the opening where the hourmeter will be mounted
- Mounting preference (eg: 3-screw mounting, 2-screw rectangular mounting, etc)
- Will you need a mounting bracket or dampener
- Operating voltage range your system will provide (eg: 10-80 VDC, etc)
- Do you want a standard hourmeter or an LCD type
- What type of environment will the instrument be used in (eg: highway; high moisture; off-road; stationary equipment; etc)
If you wish to match the style of existing instruments you should also have the following:
- If your current instruments are a Stewart Warner line, which line (SW Deluxe, Heavy Duty Plus, etc) (see the Stewart Warner Products page for the product lines)
- Bezel color wanted (black, polished)
- Dial face and graphics preferences (black dial, white graphics, etc)
