For selecting a pressure switch, what information should I have before contacting a distributor or sales rep?

What pressure set point do you require (eg: 4PSI)

What circuit/terminal set up do you require (eg: single circuit-1 terminal; single circuit-2 terminal; dual circuit-3 terminal)

Is the circuitry a Normally Open(NO) or a Normally Closed(NC) circuit

What will you be monitoring the pressure of (eg: motor oil, air, etc)
