Part 2: Installing Vintage Stewart Warner Green Line gauges

We discussed the history, design, identification, variations, date coding and tips for buying vintage Stewart Warner (“SW”) Custom Green Line gauges in the last issue, HMM #142, June 2015, and we highlighted ones that are currently available. For Part 2, we will install a set under the dashboard of a 1967 Buick GS 400. The period-correct gauges chosen for this project were collected by the author and include a 21⁄16-inch voltmeter from the Deluxe line and 21⁄32- inch mechanical water temp and oil pressure from the Utility line.
